Assuming this update would add more polish to the platform, I allowed the update to proceed and went about my morning. This morning, a notification for a new update to Big Sur appeared on my screen. So, Insync is overkill for my requirements on my mobile devices. That’s when I turned to Insync, which did a fine job for what I needed–to sync a single directory to my Google Drive account. Turns out, it was broken and was incapable of connecting to my Google Account. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get the app to function. When I first purchased my M1-powered MacBook Pro, I found it to be one of the most incredibly performant laptops I’ve ever used.

Just in case you aren’t aware, AppData is a user-specific hidden folder used by Windows applications to store their data/settings. the client fails to sync the folders/flies kept in C Drive’s AppData folders to cloud. One such problem has recently got confirmation from Google, viz. While there are multiple issues plaguing Backup and Sync – the common client of Google Drive and Google Photos – new ones keep showing up every now and then.
